Welcome to Waunakee Food Services
Waunakee Community School District is pleased to partner with Taher, Inc. as our Food Service provider. Taher brings a wealth of experience and expertise in providing nutritious, delicious, and student-friendly meal options tailored to meet the diverse needs of our school community.
Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to meals that fuel learning and growth while promoting healthy eating habits. With Taher’s commitment to quality and innovation, we’re excited to introduce enhanced menu offerings, seasonal specials, and a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
The Food Service Office is located at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at 101 School Drive (lower level), next to Waunakee Community High School.
Our business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on school days, and we’re here to assist students, staff, and families an with any questions or concerns regarding meal programs, menus, or student/staff accounts.

Food Services Update - Low Balance/Negative Meal Account Text and Email Notifications
Families may receive notifications through ParentSquare, a communication tool utilized by WCSD, from our Food Service partner regarding low or negative meal account balances. These reminders are sent by text message and email twice each week to help families stay informed and keep student meal accounts up to date. Messages will be sent on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM and Friday mornings at 7:00 AM.
We encourage families to regularly check their student’s balance and add funds as needed through the online payment system. If you have questions or need assistance, the Food Service Office is happy to help.
